Loss of water supply

We're experiencing intermittent issues with our self-serve portal

Households in Brighton and surrounding areas of East Sussex may be without water temporarily after recent heavy rainfall affected water sources.

The very heavy rain over the past few days has led to cloudiness of water taken from an underground water source in Brighton.

We have interrupted water supplies in the Brighton and East Sussex area while our staff work to reduce the cloudiness - known as turbidity - to the levels necessary to supply safe, clear drinking water.

We are working hard to restore supplies to normal as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused by this incident.

Customers with medical conditions and particular needs can contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0330 303 0368.

Find out more information about turbidity.
